Hosting

Do you support more than one site?

Yes, the Sleep Like a Baby and Sleep Like a Rock plans both support sub-domain sites associated with your main website url (e.g. members.yoursite.com or internal.yoursite.com). Please review our Support Plans page to compare the hosting options provided with each. If you’d like support for multiple site urls, please contact us at sales@sandmansupportcom.skipdns.link. One of our solution counselors will contact you quickly to understand your need.

How long does a task take to complete?

We complete most tasks within 24 hours during business days. If you request a task over the weekend, we will generally take care of it on Monday morning unless we deem it to be urgent. We reserve the right to prioritize tasks based on the need of clients. You’d like your urgent requests done quickly. Hope you understand if that impacts one of your requests.

What does 24/7 support mean?

Most jobs are completed Monday to Friday, during business hours and overnight. We monitor incoming tasks over the weekend, so if there’s an urgent technical issue, our monitors will call in a Sandman support resource for extra help.

I’m thinking about signing up… when will you solve my problem?

First, we need to check your details and activate your account. If you are using our hosting, we will need to transfer your site to our hosting plan and change the DNS with your registrar which may take a few days. Once that is done, you are welcome to submit your first job. We aim to start working on solving your problem as soon as your site is fully transferred.

Can you help me with a specific job?

Are there limits to the tasks Sandman will do?

We strive to keep all of our customers happy. We only do small fixes and jobs. This means that 30-minute tasks are in scope and larger, more complex projects are out of scope. We can certainly help you with your larger projects and we can quote them on a per-project basis.

I don’t have a WordPress website, can you still help?

We only support WordPress sites, but we offer very affordable web design services and we can re-create your site in WordPress.

How is the 30-minute task duration monitored?

Our support staff are dedicated to completing your requests in an efficient and timely manner. If they believe your request to be in the spirit of the support agreement, it will be completed regardless of the time required. If requests are obviously an attempt to complete a bigger objective (like breaking the addition of a new page into multiple 30-minute tasks), the agent will escalate the request to their manager to discuss creating a project to scope the work.

What’s the hourly rate for requests taking more than 30 minutes?

Requests for projects and activities outside the scope of the 30-minute task duration are quoted based on the resources required. Our goal is to provide you the best service at a reasonable price.
